This year’s collection of day dresses, skirt suits, and cocktail frocks tapped heavily into classic definitions of elegance.
The lineup was a well-executed time capsule-worthy picture of proper Fifties dressing. It started with a simple white dress, went to casual and work wear and ended with wedding-worthy dresses. Ulyana kept it very simple and elegant, the color palette was everything from blacks, to muted yellows to bright orange colors, which kept the collection a bit more fresh.
My favorite looks were the big fluffy sweater, that was tucked into a cigarette skirt and worn with a pink belt. Another exquisitely done piece two-piece set was the black high waisted trousers worn with a short black long sleeve shirt. Although the color was a bit boring for my liking, the cut was stunning.
Overall, beautiful textiles and concept but the collection did feel a bit outdated to me.
