Tory Burch mentioned that this collection represent the concept of “Less is more”. Meaning she prefers to use quality fabrics, and make a statement through simplicity rather then excess. I absolutely agree with this statement I feel like the collection has a sense of ease and luxury, without the pretense that usually comes along. All the outfits are loose fitting, breezy and have a sense of relaxed asymmetry.
If you are packing for a vacation and want to look effortless; this would be a perfect collection to note for your summer gateway.
My favourite look was a white sweater with intarsia sweater spelling out L-O-V-E, paired with a simple straight knee length skirt and a thin belt on the waist.
Another favorite of mine was the last dress- linen simple, vertically striped with a belt detail on the waist it was the epitome of a vacation dress. Also loved the ruffle detailing on the sleeves it gave the dress a bit more interest.
Overall the collection was quite clean, done in a washed, classic palette of ivory, white, khaki, navy and chambray.
