The title of this show was “The Shape of Color” Most of the colors were very pale and neutral, but the shapes and the feel of the collection matched the title perfectly. There were a lot of feminine and fluid dresses and clean suiting in neutral colors. The preferred texture for this collection was definitely silks, linens, and natural fabrics. This was a moment of softness and simplicity for the brand.
The main color of the collection was silvery gray and the textures were all semi-transparent. The show had a lot of airy pieces but even the pieces with structure had retained a sense of movement, which, combined with the plays of light, created a discreet, otherworldly subtext.
The accessories were also very stunning, a lot of layered metal and plastic jewelry. The bags were net-like and the shoes had slick and shiny uppers of scrunched PVC. Made the collection that much more unique.
One of my favorite pieces was a balloon-hemmed vest top paired with pants of reflective, liquid-like organza was patterned with circular multicolored sequins that looked like raindrops on water.
This was a soft, beautiful collection but so powerful.
