I have compiled for you a selection of colours in outfits that are subconsciously associated with success, wealth and leadership. Let’s see how they can fit into your wardrobe.
BLACK AND WHITE
Many people have these colours in their wardrobe, but do they look expensive? They are more capricious than any others in terms of care. Some whites turns yellow from water, some blacks lose their colour or draw dust. These are anti-indicators of solidity. Black as a wing of a raven and white as fresh snow will make the outfit well-groomed, and, therefore, you will look more successful in it. IMPORTANT: several black or white clothes should have one shade.
GREY AND BEIGE
These colours can also be warm and cold, light or dark. Choose according to your colour type and contrast. Grey or beige is suitable for any dress code and will look better in total looks and monochrome combinations, rather than as a background or one thing in the outfit. Choose a simple cut, loose or semi-adjacent silhouette. Add only one small colour accent — this will be the recipe for a solid business look.
Do not forget about the bright colours in the business palette, they are special. The image of a successful woman remains in the memory, but doesn’t motley in from of the eyes. Leave bright colours for informal occasions, and for work choose deep and muted one. Indigo, emerald, amethyst, deep blue, marsala and so on.
We discard pink, turquoise, yellow colours — they carry emotions of lightness and serenity, and this is not something that needs to be broadcast at work.
WHAT COLOUR COMBINATIONS TO CHOOSE?
Leave triads, tetrads and other complex and bright harmonies for celebratory or informal meetings. And remember, colour is only half of the success, the cut and style are also very important!
