The notion of layering a structured blazer or vest over a romantically easy dress this trend was started by Nicolas Ghesquière at Louis Vuitton. What is there not to love about this, basically you get to wear your favorite dress and throw something over, to make you look instantly cool and comfortable all at the same time. This is a perfect trend for fall, in my opinion, could look great in schools and offices alike.
Modesty with a spin
Turtlenecks never go out of style I feel like it is a great fall and winter basic for a lot of people. This year is no different designers like Calvin Klein, Jil Sander, and Gabriela Hearst all incorporated this trend in their collection. Some designers choose to put a modern spin by using bold colors and patterning or using color-blocking to give the old turtleneck a fresh spin.
The concept of Water Print
So many designers these seasons have incorporated the concept of water into their resort collection Prabal Gurung, Pringle of Scotland’s, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Victor Glemaud and Isola Marras all opted for mixing the concept of water into their garments. Some choose to use the tie-dye concept others opted for washed out colors. This is a beautiful summer trend when used sparingly.
